1) Quick intake — You complete a short form so we understand the context and goals.
2) 90‑minute mapping session — Live, guided session on Zoom or in person. We surface key interests, values, boundaries, and options. We capture it in real time.
3) Your Mutual Conflict Map — You'll receive your completed Map document within 24 hours — a concise, structured reference capturing your insights, priorities, and next steps.
4) Optional follow‑up — A 30‑minute check‑in to prepare for your next conversation or adjust your plan.
Most conflicts look simple on the surface and complex underneath. The Map helps you slow down enough to see what’s driving reactions, where values and boundaries live, and how to move from demands to problem-solving. With a shared picture, decisions get easier.
If you want someone to judge who’s right or wrong
If you want a one-size solution imposed on the other person

No, but it can lead to mediation or facilitation. The Map is a first step to create clarity and options and it is part of the process of a traditional mediation. If a facilitated conversation would help, we can add that on as a separate service.
This is exactly why the Map was created. Not everyone is ready for a facilitated session at the same time. By creating your map, you’ll prepare your approach, lead by example, and reduce the risk of escalation.
Yes. The Partner Map is designed for two or more people who share decisions and want to realign.
Yes. We’ll outline confidentiality in the agreement and honor your privacy.
Either. Virtual is standard; Chicago-area in-person is available on request.
We can add follow-ups, a facilitated session between people, or a short coaching series. You can also consider adding the Conflict Dynamics Profile assessment to learn about and strengthen your behaviors in conflict.
